You and your wife are so hard-core...

You are my hero!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6434726458328084701.post-20717597930260400572008-06-09T10:59:00.000-04:002008-06-09T10:59:00.000-04:00I will be blogging about it, but probably not for ...I will be blogging about it, but probably not for a day or two. I did post a link to some body elses pictures and group comment.

I did a non-smoked kilbassa, dry-cured ham, and four dry cured sausage, pepperone, Hungarian and Tuscan Salami and Spanish Chorizzo. Yes all from his book. I also did a pate, which is posted in late April on my blog. I also did a bunch of different mustards and pickles. My wife did a horse-radish cured salmon. We also had bacon, deserts and a vegetarian dish, quite good, that I can't describe as I don't have the recipes with me.

He was polite, ate our food, took more of somethings. He was there about two hours, including lunch, and spoke of future projects. He is judging some Iron Chef, and is working on three additional cookbooks.

He did know who NTSC was and told us to keep on cooking.

Kind of like Elvis complimenting you on Blue Suede Shoes, he signed Charcuterie with somthing like 'keep up the excellent charcuterie'.

Really nice guy.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6434726458328084701.post-72326567521191258722008-06-09T09:55:00.000-04:002008-06-09T09:55:00.000-04:00NTSC - Having lunch with Ruhlman and having him ea...NTSC -

Having lunch with Ruhlman and having him eat your food (the food you cooked from his books) is a little like having lunch with Elvis and then, singing "Blue Suede Shoes" for him as they bring in the dessert...

What did he say? Was he nice? Did he give you cool pointers? Did he know who you are because of the blog? Was it nerve-racking when he ate your food? What did you make?

Okay, too many questions, but I'm sooooooooooo envious and excited. (I don't get out much) I'm going to your blog right now. I hope you blogged about this...IN DETAIL!

Seriously, it's like an Elvis sighting. You lucky bastard!!! (I mean that affectionately, of course)

KimAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6434726458328084701.post-64788536376583575362008-06-09T09:44:00.000-04:002008-06-09T09:44:00.000-04:00I do mean the good kind of hysterical, as in hyste...I do mean the good kind of hysterical, as in hysterically funny on the subject of peas in your daughters' poop.

And you seem to have the interest in food that I do, else how do you explain the Coc au Vin with two daughters hanging on. Simpler to order out, but no, you persevere.

And to drop a name, which he said we could do, I had lunch on Saturday with Michael Ruhlman http://img519.imageshack.us/img519/6396/CIMG0155.jpg . That is him in blue signing a book for my wife and me.

More here: http://www.americastestkitchen.com/ibb/posts.aspx?postID=247030&postRepeater1-p=1

We prepared the food and he ate it without gaging. Since I prepared charcuterie, all but one from his book, I was pleased.

I wouldn't think about blowing wind up your skirt, I'm a happily married man and old enough to be your father. As for fast food, its true that I would sooner relactate to feed Izzy rather than give him fast food!

As for that crazy old lady, what did you say to her? What was her problem? That you were exposing your lovely breast and that this was inappropriate? Children can watch violent t.v., see semi-pornographic ads on billboards but the beautiful sight of a child nursing, will scar these children for life. What a crazy world we live in!Izzy's Mamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16549823591119220768noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6434726458328084701.post-24703278643991895982008-06-06T21:47:00.000-04:002008-06-06T21:47:00.000-04:00That's Freakin AWESOME!Thank you thank you thank y...That's Freakin AWESOME!
Thank you thank you thank you.
Well I guess that means I should get off my lazy butt and write something again...ibhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16191792547637344340noreply@blogger.com
