Reading in the middle of the afternoon to escape the sun.
Taking off our clothes and running through the fountain in Columbus Circle, for no particular reason other than the spirit moved us.
Small things climbing big things.
Conjuring up some mischievous business that is just between sisters.
That's the long and short of it really. Nothing too flashy, our summer. But nice. And I've been finishing the book proposal and sending it out to people to read, oh, and cooking. Lots of cooking and eating and hanging. I have a lot to tell you.
